Terms of Use

Effective: August 21, 2026 • Last updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this website and its publicly available content. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Informational website only

The site provides general information about cybersecurity, governance, risk, compliance, artificial intelligence, technology leadership, and related professional services. Website content is not a substitute for advice tailored to your organization, systems, facts, contracts, laws, or risk profile.

2. No professional-client relationship from site use

Your use of the site, submission of a contact form, download of a resource, or exchange of preliminary communications does not by itself create an attorney-client, consultant-client, fiduciary, employment, or other professional relationship. Any paid engagement should be governed by a separate written agreement signed by the relevant parties.

3. No legal, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice

Unless expressly agreed in a separate signed engagement, site content is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, medical, or other regulated professional advice. You are responsible for obtaining qualified advice for decisions requiring it.

4. Cybersecurity and AI disclaimer

Cybersecurity, compliance, and AI risk cannot be eliminated. Framework references, sample controls, checklists, tools, demonstrations, code, or recommendations do not guarantee security, compliance, certification, regulatory approval, uninterrupted operation, or prevention of incidents. You remain responsible for validating any implementation in your own environment.

5. AI-generated or AI-assisted content

Some demonstrations, tools, code, summaries, or other materials may be created or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, insecure, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Review, testing, professional judgment, and human oversight are required before reliance or production use.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the site design, original text, branding, graphics, downloadable materials, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Natasha Chance and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and download materials for personal or internal business reference, but may not reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, scrape, train a competing model or dataset on, remove attribution from, or create derivative commercial works from protected site content without written permission, except as permitted by law.

7. Third-party names, marks, and frameworks

References to companies, certifications, standards, frameworks, institutions, or trademarks are for identification and informational purposes. Unless expressly stated, they do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or certification by the referenced organization. Certification marks and institutional names remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the site to violate law; infringe rights; transmit malware; attempt unauthorized access; probe or disrupt the site except through legally authorized security testing; harvest personal information; impersonate others; interfere with availability; or use automated means in a manner that materially burdens the site.

9. Third-party links and services

The site may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, security, availability, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own agreements.

10. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and public materials are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, security, or uninterrupted availability.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Natasha Chance and any affiliated service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or system availability arising from or related to use of the public website or reliance on its materials. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, liability will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Natasha Chance from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Any court proceeding relating to these Terms shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Georgia, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.

14. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue site features or update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless applicable law requires another form of notice or consent.

15. Severability and no waiver

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
